Fast User Switching

If you're using your Mac in a shared office or household situation, take advantage of the 'fast user switching' feature, part of the login options of the accounts panel of your system preferences. It enables you to quickly switch from one user account to another without quitting programs or logging out so that more than one user can enjoy the Apple experience, along with the easily customizable user account interface.

Seems to be working better than ever. The RAM & storage improvements have made for snappier performance (or so Maggie tells me), and would have been welcome even if the old drive had been healthy.
